Fall Running Programs

Join Tough Cookies this fall in our 15-week program for the White Rock Half Marathon. Whether your goal is to finish your first half marathon or to set a new PR, our goal is to get you across the finish line injury-free and with a smile on your face. Our women-specific program incorporates yoga for runners and strength training to compliment speed, technique and endurance training and avoid injuries common to the female anatomy. Our trainees benefit from the unique social interaction, support and motivation that our women-only group provides. Our running programs are open to women of all abilities and experience. Women in the program are coached according to their own ability and personal goals.

Programs Details

White Rock Half Marathon - (Starts Wednesday, September 2)
This 15-week training program prepares you to run the White Rock Half Marathon. To join this group you should be able to run/walk 3 miles (at any speed). Registration Fee: $225

Intro to Tough Cookie Running - (6 weeks (Starts September 2)
Want to check out our program but are not ready to commit for the full 15 weeks? Join our 6 week intro program to learn proper running technique, training principals and to shape up. There is no minimum fitness level and walkers are welcome! Registration Fee: $150

Meeting Dates and Locations:

  • Tuesday - 6pm at Edward H. Cary Middle School Track (3978 Killion Drive Dallas, 75229)

  • Saturday - 7am at White Rock Lake at the Boat House (parking can be tricky so arrive early)

Intro to Tough Cookie Running  $150 - 6 weeks
